Seafarers has made a name for itself by dedicating its recovery services to the people who struggle with drug and alcohol abuse issues in Edwardsville and within the surrounding neighborhoods.
Services are provided on an individualized basis to ensure clients achieve full recovery in the long term. Seafarers has also specialized in contingency management/motivational incentive, trauma-related counseling, 12-step facilitation approach, cognitive/behavior therapy, activity therapy, brief intervention approach, and others - as well as many other treatment methods such as treatment for spanish-speaking clients, clients referred from the court/judicial system, programs for the hearing impaired, legal advocacy, persons with serious mental illness, veterans, and more.
Additionally, Seafarers has programs such as long term drug and alcohol rehab facilities, outpatient counseling, detoxification facilities, inpatient rehab programs, short term addiction treatment programs for clients with addictions to drugs and alcohol. The addiction treatment center uses treatment methods that can provide lasting and permanent stability to anyone with a substance abuse disorder. Finally, Seafarers accepts individuals with different types of payment methods - including private pay, private insurance, sliding fee scale, military insurance, state welfare or child and family services funds, access to recovery (atr) voucher and others.
