Dept of Psych and Behav Medicine is committed to helping any person with an alcohol or drug use problem in Boones Mill and within the surrounding neighborhoods find complete recovery. It offers several programs - such as intensive outpatient treatment, long term treatment centers, inpatient detox facilities, inpatient rehab programs, short term treatment centers and others - in keeping with its philosophy of the recovery care and rehabilitation methods that are effective in recovery. This drug and alcohol treatment facility also believes that people need individual treatment to be able to maintain their sobriety.
As such, Dept of Psych and Behav Medicine specializes in 12-step facilitation approach, behavior modification, motivational interviewing, cognitive/behavior therapy, group therapy, vocational rehabilitation services and more. At the same time, it accepts patients who are suicide prevention services, child care for clients children, active duty military, seniors or older adults, clients with HIV/AIDS, clients referred from the court/judicial system, and others. This alcohol and drug rehab uses care modalities that can assist clients to maintain abstinence from the substances of abuse that they have used in the past.
