Sisseton Wahpeton Sioux Tribe has made a name for itself by dedicating its recovery services to the individuals who struggle with alcohol and drug use issues in the local community.
Services are provided on an individualized basis to ensure clients achieve full recovery in the long term. Sisseton Wahpeton Sioux Tribe has also specialized in activity therapy, dual diagnosis drug rehab, relapse prevention, individual psychotherapy, motivational interviewing, contingency management/motivational incentive, and others - as well as many other treatment modalities such as co-occurring mental and substance abuse disorders, clients referred from the court/judicial system, suicide prevention services, persons with serious mental illness, seniors or older adults, clients with HIV/AIDS, and more.
Additionally, Sisseton Wahpeton Sioux Tribe has programs such as detoxification programs, outpatient hospital programs, short term addiction treatment centers, inpatient addiction treatment programs, long term addiction treatment facilities for clients with addictions to drugs and alcohol.
