Rapid City is known for dedicating its recovery services to the people who struggle with drug and alcohol abuse issues in the local community.
Services are provided on an individualized basis to ensure clients find full recovery in the long term. Rapid City has also specialized in 12-step facilitation approach, behavior modification, matrix model, contingency management/motivational incentive, relapse prevention, dual diagnosis drug rehab, and others - as well as many other treatment modalities such as aftercare/continuing care, transgender or (LGBT) clients, persons with serious mental illness, legal advocacy, veterans, substance abuse education, and more.
Additionally, Rapid City has programs such as detox programs, outpatient hospital programs, inpatient rehab programs, short term drug abuse treatment, long term addiction treatment facilities for clients with addictions to drugs and alcohol. The drug and alcohol rehabilitation program uses treatment methods that can provide lasting stability to anyone with a substance use issue. Finally, Rapid City accepts clients with different types of payment methods - including private insurance, private pay, payment assistance, sliding fee scale, state education funds, county or local government funds and others.
