Choctaw Nation is committed to helping any person with a drug or alcohol use problem in the Wister area find full recovery. It provides several services - such as short term drug treatment, outpatient individual counseling, inpatient rehabs, outpatient detoxification centers, long term addiction treatment programs and others - in keeping with its philosophy of the addiction treatment and rehab methods that are effective in recovery. This drug and alcohol rehab center also believes that clients need individual care and treatment to be able to maintain their sobriety.
As such, Choctaw Nation has specialized in relapse prevention, group therapy, motivational interviewing, trauma-related counseling, vocational rehabilitation services, 12-step facilitation approach and more. Similarly, it accepts clients who are housing services, treatment for spanish-speaking clients, suicide prevention services, clients referred from the court/judicial system, veterans, programs for the hearing impaired, and others. This alcohol and drug rehab uses care methods that can assist clients to achieve sobriety and abstinence from the substances abused in the past.
