Shoemaker Center provides addiction care and rehabilitation services such as short term drug and alcohol rehab programs, long term drug rehab programs, detox centers, inpatient rehab programs, outpatient substance abuse counseling, and others to clients living in the local community so that they conquer their alcohol and drug use issues and find full sobriety. It has services - such as couple/family therapy, dual diagnosis drug rehab, dialectical behavior therapy, group therapy, contingency management/motivational incentive, trauma therapy, and others - which follow its philosophy of the programs that work most effectively. This is because Shoemaker Center believes that complete sobriety can only be achieved through highly individualized care.
Further, the addiction treatment center specializes in many other programs - like programs for the hearing impaired, treatment for spanish-speaking clients, veterans, persons with post-traumatic stress disorder, transgender or (LGBT) clients, self-help groups and more - as well as many other treatment modalities listed below.
