MercyOne Horizons has long been dedicated to helping individuals recovery after a period of abusing drugs and alcohol. It has been doing this within Waverly, Iowa and in the surrounding communities for many years now. MercyOne Horizons provides services like relapse prevention, dialectical behavior therapy, anger management, matrix model, substance abuse counseling approach, couple/family therapy - all of which represent their treatment philosophy. Additionally, MercyOne Horizons believes that clients need individual focus and treatment for them to find full recovery treatment. This is why it provides various programs, like persons with serious mental illness, persons with post-traumatic stress disorder, active duty military, suicide prevention services, aftercare/continuing care, clients referred from the court/judicial system - among other services listed in the following sections.
MercyOne Horizons offers outpatient detox facilities, long term drug rehab facilities, inpatient drug addiction treatment, outpatient substance abuse treatment services, short term drug and alcohol rehab centers and others. Further, MercyOne Horizons has aftercare plans that are designed to help clients maintain their sobriety. This alcohol and drug rehabilitation program also uses treatment types that can help you create both lasting and permanent stability.
Finally, MercyOne Horizons accepts cash or self-payment, private health insurance, payment assistance, sliding fee scale, other state funds, access to recovery (atr) voucher, as well as others.
