MercyOne Horizons is committed to helping any person with an alcohol or drug use problem in the local community find full recovery. It offers several programs - such as long term drug treatment, short term drug rehab programs, inpatient addiction treatment programs, detoxification centers, outpatient counseling and others - in keeping with its belief of the addiction care and rehab methods that work in recovery. This drug and alcohol rehab facility also believes that clients need individual care and treatment to be able to stop abusing drugs and alcohol.
As such, MercyOne Horizons has specialized in couple/family therapy, substance abuse counseling approach, rational emotive behavioral therapy, trauma-related counseling, cognitive/behavior therapy, behavior modification and more. Similarly, it accepts patients who are self-help groups, clients referred from the court/judicial system, persons who have experienced sexual abuse, social skills development, clients with HIV/AIDS, persons with serious mental illness, and others. This drug and alcohol treatment program uses care methods that can assist patients to maintain abstinence from the substances of abuse that they have used in the past.
In terms of payment, clients in MercyOne Horizons can pay for services using cash or self-payment, private insurance, payment assistance, sliding fee scale, state education funds, access to recovery (atr) voucher and others.
