MercyOne Horizons is dedicated to helping anyone with a drug or alcohol use issue in Wadena and its surrounding areas find complete recovery. It provides several services - such as inpatient detoxification programs, short term drug and alcohol rehabs, outpatient substance abuse counseling, long term addiction treatment programs, inpatient treatment facilities and others - in line with its belief of the recovery treatment and rehabilitation methods that are effective in recovery. This alcohol and drug rehabilitation program also believes that clients need individual care to be able to stop abusing drugs and alcohol.
As such, MercyOne Horizons specializes in behavior modification, 12-step facilitation approach, dialectical behavior therapy, motivational interviewing, individual psychotherapy, anger management and more. Similarly, it accepts clients who are transgender or (LGBT) clients, legal advocacy, residential beds for client's children, self-help groups, clients referred from the court/judicial system, clients with HIV/AIDS, and others. This alcohol and drug rehab facility uses care methods that can help clients to maintain sobriety from the substances of abuse that they have used in the past.
In terms of payment, clients in MercyOne Horizons can pay for services using private health insurance, private pay, payment assistance, sliding fee scale, state corrections or juvenile justice funds, state welfare or child and family services funds and others.
