List of Short Term Substance Abuse Treatment Facilities In Ruthven, Iowa

Making Short Term Treatment Work in Ruthven, Iowa

Typically, finishing short term drug or alcohol treatment means that you'll want to continue on with additional rehabilitation services such as going to individual and group counseling. In most cases, substance abuse recovery is a long-term commitment. Therefore you may want to continue with your treatment in other settings for a while - depending on how confident you are in your sobriety, your determination, and your health.

As such, the step-down method after going through a short term drug treatment program will involve other levels of recovery, including but not limited to:

  • Halfway houses
  • Intensive outpatient programs (IOP)
  • Outpatient treatments
  • Partial hospitalization programs (PHP)
  • Sober living homes
  • Support groups

Even after you have completed a short term substance abuse rehabilitation center and have began transitioning into a new healthy way of life, you may still require continued support and aftercare services. You might discover these in group settings, such as by regularly attending 12-step support group meetings, or in an individualized environment like one-on-one counseling & therapy or outpatient drug treatment.

As a rule, the longer you can stick to the treatment protocol, the better your chances of recovery will be.

While you attempt sobriety and balance in your life, you should take the time to find an effective short term substance abuse treatment facility in Ruthven in accordance with your specific needs and preferences.

When searching for a short term treatment program you may want to consider the following factors:

  • The cost of treatment
  • The type and severity of your addiction
  • If the facility accepts insurance
  • The location of the facility
  • The length of the treatment programs
  • If you are suffering from any co-occurring physical and mental health disorders
  • The length of the treatment programs
