List of Short Term Alcohol and Drug Rehab Centers In Rolfe, Iowa

Understanding Short Term Drug and Alcohol Rehab in Rolfe, Iowa

Short term drug treatment is one of the more effective types of substance abuse treatment. That is, it might be helpful for clients in Rolfe who cannot participate in a long-term rehab program.

Yet, there are a few factors you should consider when selecting the rehab center you are thinking about attending. The three main concerns encompass cost, success rates/effectiveness, and program duration.

Whereas no universal treatment method will work for all addicts, you will have several treatment options to pick from dependent on your particular requirements and desires. One of these options is short term drug rehab.

In most cases, short term rehabilitation will require that you live within the treatment center for a few weeks. These programs are somewhat comparable to long-term addiction treatment except they are quite a bit shorter yet at the same time ensuring that you obtain the attention, support, and monitoring to ensure you do not relapse.

Specifically, short term rehab will range in duration from 14 days to about 6 weeks. During this time, you can participate in individual and group counseling and therapy while you also continue discovering effective life skills that will help you to confront any problematic situation you encounter instead of getting high or drunk.

Usually, short term addiction treatment in Rolfe, IA. will begin with medical detox. The program length will primarily depend on the severity of your addiction as well as the length of time you have been using.

After you finish detoxification, the treatment program will perform other methods of treatment tailored to your individual needs. For instance, treatment may use the 12 step method to allow you to receive benefits from peer support. These treatment components may help hold you accountable as you work through your addiction.

Other treatment methods that might be available in short term treatment include:

  • Art therapy
  • Acupuncture
  • Group counseling
  • Cognitive behavioral therapy
  • Individual counseling
  • Nature therapy
  • Medication
  • Yoga
  • Treatment for co-occurring mental health conditions like anxiety and depression

All these treatment methods can be performed to help modify your behavior, deter you from substance abuse, and teach you ways to make healthier decisions so that you don't relapse. You might also discover new coping methods and help you to reduce anxiety, so you do not feel you need to resort to drugs.
