MercyOne Horizons has made a name for itself by dedicating its recovery services to the people who struggle with drug and alcohol use disorders in Readlyn, Iowa and within the surrounding neighborhoods.

MercyOne Horizons has also specialized in behavior modification, brief intervention approach, contingency management/motivational incentive, motivational interviewing, rational emotive behavioral therapy, cognitive/behavior therapy, and others - as well as many other treatment modalities such as seniors or older adults, child care for clients children, substance abuse education, treatment for spanish-speaking clients, persons with serious mental illness, veterans, and more.
Additionally, MercyOne Horizons has programs such as outpatient detoxification facilities, short term addiction treatment centers, long term addiction treatment facilities, outpatient day treatment, inpatient drug rehab centers for verifiable addictions to drugs and alcohol. The alcohol and drug rehab program uses treatment modalities that can provide permanent stability to any person with a substance abuse problem. Finally, MercyOne Horizons accepts clients with different types of payment methods - including private insurance, cash or self-payment, sliding fee scale, medicare, medicaid, other state funds, state welfare or child and family services funds and others.
