List of Short Term Alcohol and Drug Rehabs In Quimby, Iowa

What is Short-Term Treatment in Quimby, Iowa

A short term drug and alcohol rehabilitation facility is is designed for people with a short history of abuse or abuser's that wish to quit using but are finding it difficult to do so. When you use alcohol or drugs that form dependence/addiction even for a brief period of time you can become addicted. Drug addiction manifests itself when you decide you are going to stop using the substance but you are struggling because of the physical and/or psychological withdrawal symptoms. If you abuse a habit forming substance such as meth cocaine, heroin, norco, dexedrine, concerta or various other addictive substances for even a short amount of time you could have a hard time stopping on your own without help. If this is the case, a short term drug and alcohol rehab facility in Quimby could be the right fit.

When you quit addictive substances abruptly you may experience what are known as withdrawal symptoms. Withdrawal symptoms can bring about both physical and psychological symptoms such as weakness, shakiness, clammy skin, craving, feeling cold, sweating, watery eyes, agitation, excitability, irritability, delirium, restlessness, hallucinations, depression, severe anxiety, paranoia and more. Withdrawal symptoms can induce urges to continue taking the substance to alleviate the symptoms despite your intent to stop using the drug. If this sounds like you or your loved one's situation, then you can find recovery in a short term drug and alcohol rehabilitation program.

The initial phase of a short term rehab program for addiction is detoxification. Medical detox is a process that minimizes withdrawal symptoms with medications made to gently and safely wean you off the substance. After detox is complete, you will receive psychological support and counseling to help you maintain your recovery so that you may live a happy, drug-free life. A short term treatment program in Quimby, IA is typically 28 to 30 days but the benefits can change your life forever.
