List of Short Term Substance Abuse Treatment Centers In Pomeroy, Iowa

Making Short Term Treatment Work in Pomeroy, Iowa

Most commonly, completing short term drug treatment means that you'll want to carry on with aftercare services such as going to 12-step meetings or individualized counseling. In most cases, addiction recovery is a long-term ambition. That said, you might want to continue with your treatment in other settings for a while - depending on how confident you are in your sobriety, your determination, and your health.

As such, the step-down method after completing a short term rehab program will include additional levels of treatment, including but not limited to:

  • Intensive outpatient programs (IOP)
  • Partial hospitalization programs (PHP)
  • Halfway houses
  • Sober living homes
  • Support groups
  • Outpatient treatments

In fact, even after you have finished a short term drug rehabilitation facility and have began transitioning into a new sober way of life, you may still want further support and aftercare services. You might discover these in group contexts, such as by going to 12-step support group meetings, or in an individualized environment like one on one counseling & therapy or outpatient counseling.

As a rule, the longer you can stick to the treatment protocol, the higher your chances of successful recovery will be.

While you strive for abstinence and balance in your life, you should take the time to find an effective short term drug treatment center in Pomeroy in accordance with your exact requirements and preferences.

While searching for a short term treatment facility, therefore, you should take into account the following factors:

  • The cost of treatment
  • The type and severity of your addiction
  • If the facility accepts insurance
  • The location of the facility
  • The length of the treatment programs
  • If you are suffering from any co-occurring physical and mental health disorders
  • The length of the treatment programs
