List of Short Term Substance Abuse Treatment Centers In Milford, Iowa

Making Short Term Drug and Alcohol Rehabilitation Work in Milford, Iowa

Typically, completing short term drug or alcohol rehab means that you need to follow up with aftercare services such as making use of group counseling and individualized therapy. In most cases, addiction recovery is a long-term goal. This means that you may want to continue with your treatment in other settings for a while - depending on how confident you are in your sobriety, your determination, and your health.

As such, the step-down method after completing a short term drug rehabilitation program will consist of additional types of treatment, including but not limited to:

  • Halfway houses
  • Intensive outpatient programs (IOP)
  • Outpatient treatments
  • Partial hospitalization programs (PHP)
  • Sober living homes
  • Support groups

Even after you have finished a short term drug and alcohol rehabilitation center and have started transitioning into a new healthy way of life, you may still want further support and aftercare services. You may discover these in group contexts, such as by regularly attending 12-step meetings, or in an individualized setting like one on one counseling & therapy and outpatient counseling.

Typically, the longer you stay committed to the treatment protocol, the better your chances of successful recovery will be.

As you attempt sobriety and structure in your life, you should take the time to locate a good short term treatment program in Milford based on your specific requirements and preferences.

While searching for a short term rehab program you may want to take into account the following factors:

  • The cost of treatment
  • The type and severity of your addiction
  • If the facility accepts insurance
  • The location of the facility
  • The length of the treatment programs
  • If you are suffering from any co-occurring physical and mental health disorders
  • The length of the treatment programs
