Veterans Affairs Med Center Outpatient has been offering ongoing addiction care and rehab services to residents of the Middle Amana area. Today, Veterans Affairs Med Center Outpatient provides services like anger management, behavior modification, contingency management/motivational incentive, substance abuse counseling approach, 12-step facilitation approach, trauma therapy and others in line with its belief of following rehab treatments that work best to help clients achieve sobriety.
This drug and alcohol treatment program also thinks that the way to get the best result for the client is to offer individual care. Services are available in the following settings - inpatient detox centers, inpatient rehab centers, intensive outpatient treatment, short term drug rehab facilities, long term rehab programs and others.
It also believes that an aftercare program is integral in promoting recovery in the long term. Lastly, Veterans Affairs Med Center Outpatient accepts private pay, private insurance, payment assistance, medicare, medicaid, access to recovery (atr) voucher, state corrections or juvenile justice funds and others as payment forms.
