List of Short Term Drug and Alcohol Rehab Centers In Mallard, Iowa

Making Short Term Treatment Work in Mallard, Iowa

For many people, finishing short term treatment means that you'll need to continue on with additional rehabilitation services such as going to individual and group counseling. In most cases, addiction recovery is a long-term ambition. This means that you might want to continue with your treatment in other settings for some time - depending on your health, strength, and level of abstinence and recovery.

As such, the step-down method after going through a short term rehab program may include other types of treatment, including but not limited to:

  • Intensive outpatient programs (IOP)
  • Partial hospitalization programs (PHP)
  • Halfway houses
  • Sober living homes
  • Support groups
  • Outpatient treatments

Even after you have completed a short term substance abuse rehab facility and have began reintegrating into a new healthy and drug-free lifestyle, you may still require continued support and aftercare services. You might discover these in group contexts, such as by going to 12-step support group meetings, or in an individualized environment like one-on-one counseling and outpatient counseling.

In general, the longer you can stick to the treatment protocol, the better your chances of successful recovery will be.

As you strive for abstinence and structure in your life, you will want to take the time to find the best short term substance abuse rehabilitation program in Mallard that fits your specific requirements and preferences.

While looking for a short term treatment center you should take into account the following factors:

  • If the facility accepts insurance
  • If you are suffering from any co-occurring physical and mental health disorders
  • The cost of treatment
  • The length of the treatment programs
  • The location of the facility
  • The rehab programs provided
  • The type and severity of your addiction
