MercyOne Horizons is dedicated to assisting anyone with a drug or alcohol use disorder in Ladora and within the surrounding neighborhoods find full recovery. It provides several programs - such as inpatient drug and alcohol rehabs, long term treatment centers, outpatient hospital programs, detoxification centers, short term drug and alcohol rehab facilities and others - in line with its philosophy of the addiction treatment and rehab modalities that work in recovery. This alcohol and drug rehabilitation program also believes that people require individual treatment to be able to stop abusing drugs and alcohol.
As such, MercyOne Horizons has specialized in 12-step facilitation approach, individual psychotherapy, rational emotive behavioral therapy, behavior modification, vocational rehabilitation services, trauma therapy and more. Similarly, it accepts patients who are suicide prevention services, clients with HIV/AIDS, clients referred from the court/judicial system, persons with serious mental illness, programs for the hearing impaired, legal advocacy, and others. This drug and alcohol rehabilitation program uses care modalities that can assist patients to maintain lasting and permanent abstinence from the substances of abuse that they have used in the past.
In terms of payment, clients in MercyOne Horizons can pay for services using private medical insurance, private pay, sliding fee scale, medicaid, medicare, state corrections or juvenile justice funds, state education funds and others.
