MercyOne Horizons has long been dedicated to assisting its clients recovery after a period of substance abuse. It has been doing this within Hawkeye and in the surrounding communities for many years now. MercyOne Horizons provides services like behavior modification, vocational rehabilitation services, individual psychotherapy, dialectical behavior therapy, rational emotive behavioral therapy, activity therapy - which are all in line with their philosophy of the treatments and rehabilitation programs that work. Additionally, MercyOne Horizons believes that clients need specially tailored treatment programs to achieve recovery. This is why it provides several programs, like persons with post-traumatic stress disorder, housing services, social skills development, seniors or older adults, clients with HIV/AIDS, child care for clients children - among other services listed in the following sections.
In the same way, MercyOne Horizons offers outpatient counseling, long term drug and alcohol rehabs, inpatient drug and alcohol rehab centers, short term rehab centers, detoxification centers and others. Further, MercyOne Horizons has relapse prevention programs that are designed to help clients maintain their sobriety. This drug and alcohol rehab also uses treatment methods that can help you create both lasting and permanent stability.
Finally, MercyOne Horizons accepts cash or self-payment, private medical insurance, military insurance, payment assistance, state education funds, state corrections or juvenile justice funds, as well as others.
