List of Short Term Drug and Alcohol Rehabs In Hampton, Iowa

What is Short-Term Drug Rehab in Hampton, Iowa

A short term addiction treatment program is most appropriate for short term substance users or abuser's that wish to quit abusing drugs or alcohol but are having some difficulty doing so. When you use substances that form dependence/addiction even for a short duration of time you can become addicted. Drug addiction manifests itself when you decide you are going to stop using the substance but you are struggling due to physical and/or psychological withdrawal symptoms. If you use an addictive drug such as meth crack cocaine, heroin, norco, ambien, morphine or any other potentially addictive substances for even a brief amount of time you may have a hard time stopping on your own. If this is the situation you find yourself in, a short term drug treatment facility in Hampton could be the right fit.

When you quit addictive drugs suddenly you may experience physical effects known as withdrawal symptoms. Withdrawal symptoms will cause both psychological and physical discomforts such as weakness, shakiness, craving, clammy skin, sweating, feeling cold, agitation, crying, irritability, excitability, delirium, restlessness, depression, hallucinations, paranoia, severe anxiety etc... Withdrawal symptoms can make you feel compelled to continue taking the substance to relieve the symptoms despite your intent to quit using the substance. If this describes the situation that you find yourself in, then you can receive effective help from a short term drug rehabilitation facility.

The first step of a short term rehab program for addiction is detox. Medical detox is a process that helps to alleviate withdrawal symptoms with medications made to gently and safely get you off the substance. After detox is complete, you will be given psychological help and counseling to help you continue on with your recovery so that you may live a productive, clean & sober life. A short term treatment program in Hampton, IA is typically 28 to 30 days in length although the end results can last a lifetime.
