List of Short Term Addiction Treatment Programs In Estherville, Iowa

Making Short Term Drug Treatment Work in Estherville, Iowa

For many people, finishing short term drug or alcohol rehab means that you'll want to continue on with additional rehabilitation services such as through 12-step meetings or individualized counseling. Usually, addiction recovery is a long-term ambition. Therefore you may want to continue with your treatment in other settings for a while - depending on how confident you are in your sobriety, your determination, and your health.

As such, the step-down method after completing a short term drug rehabilitation program will consist of other types of treatment, including but not limited to:

  • Halfway houses
  • Intensive outpatient programs (IOP)
  • Outpatient treatments
  • Partial hospitalization programs (PHP)
  • Sober living homes
  • Support groups

In fact, even after you have graduated from a short term drug and alcohol treatment program and have started transitioning into a new sober lifestyle, you will still require further support. You may find these in group contexts, such as by regularly attending 12-step meetings, or in an individualized atmosphere like one on one counseling & therapy and outpatient drug treatment.

In general, the longer you stay committed to treatment and recovery, the better your chances of successful recovery will be.

While you strive for abstinence and structure in your life, you should take the time to locate a good short term drug rehab program in Estherville that fits your particular requirements and preferences.

While trying to find a short term treatment center, therefore, you should consider the following factors:

  • If the facility accepts insurance
  • If you are suffering from any co-occurring physical and mental health disorders
  • The cost of treatment
  • The length of the treatment programs
  • The location of the facility
  • The rehab programs provided
  • The type and severity of your addiction
