List of Short Term Alcohol and Drug Rehabs In Ellsworth, Iowa

Making Short Term Drug Treatment Work in Ellsworth, Iowa

For many people, completing short term treatment means that you need to carry on with additional rehabilitation services such as through 12-step meetings or individualized counseling. Usually, addiction recovery is a long-term commitment. This means that you might want to continue with your treatment in other settings for some time - depending on how confident you are in your sobriety, your determination, and your health.

As such, the step-down method after going through a short term rehab program will involve other types of treatment, including but not limited to:

  • Intensive outpatient programs (IOP)
  • Partial hospitalization programs (PHP)
  • Halfway houses
  • Sober living homes
  • Support groups
  • Outpatient treatments

In fact, even after you have graduated from a short term substance abuse treatment program and have started transitioning into a new healthy lifestyle, you may still require continued support and aftercare services. You might find these in group settings, such as by regularly attending 12-step meetings, or in an individual environment such as one on one counseling or outpatient therapy.

In general, the longer you stay committed to the treatment protocol, the greater your chances of successful recovery will be.

As you strive for abstinence and structure in your life, you should take the time to locate a good short term drug treatment program in Ellsworth that fits your exact needs and preferences.

When looking for a short term rehab program, therefore, you may want to take into account the following factors:

  • The cost of treatment
  • The type and severity of your addiction
  • If the facility accepts insurance
  • The location of the facility
  • The length of the treatment programs
  • If you are suffering from any co-occurring physical and mental health disorders
  • The length of the treatment programs
