MercyOne Horizons is dedicated to assisting the community of Elgin, Iowa and the surrounding areas to getting their sobriety back after battling with alcohol and drug addiction. Because of this, MercyOne Horizons provides a wide range of services in line with their philosophy of treatments that work - including outpatient hospital programs, detox centers, short term drug rehab programs, inpatient drug and alcohol rehab centers, long term drug and alcohol rehabs and others.
MercyOne Horizons also believes that it is of the upmost importance that every individual client gets uniquely tailored treatment to ensure their recovery. This is why it is specialized in a wide variety of treatment modalities, including vocational rehabilitation services, contingency management/motivational incentive, brief intervention approach, trauma-related counseling, 12-step facilitation approach, matrix model and others. Additionally, MercyOne Horizons is specialized in child care for clients children, active duty military, seniors or older adults, co-occurring mental and substance abuse disorders, legal advocacy, transgender or (LGBT) clients, as well as other special programs. In general, the treatment methods that this addiction treatment facility uses aims to provide positive and lasting change for each individual.
