List of Short Term Addiction Treatment Centers In Duncombe, Iowa

Continued Care Following Short Term Drug and Alcohol Rehab in Duncombe, Iowa

One of the benefits you stand to gain when you complete short term rehabilitation is that you can afterward transition into long-term treatment. As such, continued care is ideal for individuals in Duncombe who have either relapsed or are at risk of relapse because they can involve themselves in another drug-free treatment setting and continue effectively working on their addiction.

After you complete a treatment program, it is very likely that you will find yourself near the same environment where you used to abuse drugs prior to going to treatment. This is due to the fact that the same triggers - people, situations, and environment - that can cause you to relapse will still be there.

Since it can be extremely challenging to transition into a new sober life after leaving long-term rehab where you were able to focus on treatment and support for a few months, you might find that attending short term rehab in Duncombe, IA. may potentially help you sustain your newly found abstinence, resolve, and attitude against substance abuse.

During short term treatment, therefore, you will learn how to have a more productive lifestyle in spite of any difficulties you may experience. The treatment center will also help you to think and act differently - which could be extremely beneficial in making sure that you are able to handle any troubles you face.

Additional elements of substance abuse rehabilitation and continued care include:

  • How to recognize triggers and avoid them
  • How to surround yourself with support through community groups, outpatient treatment, and stays at sober living facilities
  • How to create a more favorable environment at home and work

Last but not least, short term treatment will typically have a wide array of rehabilitation methods that will help you apply new skills in your life and keep on sticking to the new philosophies and morals you have learned once you leave the treatment facility.
