MercyOne Horizons is dedicated to helping any person with a drug or alcohol abuse problem in Dewar and its surrounding areas find complete recovery. It offers several programs - such as long term drug rehab centers, outpatient day treatment, short term treatment facilities, inpatient rehabs, detoxification centers and others - in keeping with its belief of the addiction care and rehabilitation modalities that work in recovery. This alcohol and drug treatment program also believes that clients require individual treatment and care to be able to maintain their sobriety.
As such, MercyOne Horizons specializes in group therapy, contingency management/motivational incentive, brief intervention approach, matrix model, relapse prevention, rational emotive behavioral therapy and more. At the same time, it accepts clients who are clients referred from the court/judicial system, persons with eating disorders, programs for the hearing impaired, residential beds for client's children, co-occurring mental and substance abuse disorders, social skills development, and others. This addiction treatment center uses care modalities that can help patients to maintain lasting and permanent sobriety and abstinence from the substances of abuse that they have used in the past.
In terms of payment, clients in MercyOne Horizons can pay for services using private pay, private medical insurance, payment assistance, military insurance, access to recovery (atr) voucher, state welfare or child and family services funds and others.
