List of Short Term Drug and Alcohol Rehabilitation Programs In Buffalo Center, Iowa

Making Short Term Drug and Alcohol Rehabilitation Work in Buffalo Center, Iowa

For many people, completing short term treatment means that you'll need to follow up with aftercare services such as through individual and group counseling. In most cases, addiction recovery is a long-term goal. That said, you might want to continue with your treatment in other settings for some time - depending on your health, strength, and level of abstinence and recovery.

As such, the step-down method after attending a short term drug rehabilitation program will consist of other types of recovery, including but not limited to:

  • Intensive outpatient programs (IOP)
  • Partial hospitalization programs (PHP)
  • Halfway houses
  • Sober living homes
  • Support groups
  • Outpatient treatments

Even after you have graduated from a short term drug and alcohol rehab facility and have started transitioning into a new healthy lifestyle, you will likely still want additional support and aftercare services. You might encounter these in group settings, such as by regularly attending 12-step support group meetings, or in an individual environment such as one-on-one counseling or outpatient therapy.

Typically, the longer you can stick to treatment and recovery, the better your chances of recovery will be.

While you attempt abstinence and structure in your life, you will want to take the time to locate an effective short term rehab center in Buffalo Center based on your exact needs and preferences.

When trying to find a short term rehab program you should consider the following factors:

  • The cost of treatment
  • The type and severity of your addiction
  • If the facility accepts insurance
  • The location of the facility
  • The length of the treatment programs
  • If you are suffering from any co-occurring physical and mental health disorders
  • The length of the treatment programs
