List of Short Term Drug and Alcohol Rehab Facilities In Boxholm, Iowa

Making Short Term Drug Rehabilitation Work in Boxholm, Iowa

Typically, completing short term drug or alcohol rehab means that you'll need to carry on with additional rehabilitation services such as going to group counseling and individualized therapy. In most cases, addiction recovery is a long-term ambition. This means that you might want to continue with your treatment in other settings for a while - depending on how confident you are in your sobriety, your determination, and your health.

Therefore, the step-down method after going through a short term rehab program will consist of other levels of recovery, including but not limited to:

  • Intensive outpatient programs (IOP)
  • Partial hospitalization programs (PHP)
  • Halfway houses
  • Sober living homes
  • Support groups
  • Outpatient treatments

In fact, even after you have completed a short term drug and alcohol rehab center and have began transitioning into a new healthy way of life, you will likely still require further support and aftercare services. You might discover these in group contexts, such as by going to 12-step meetings, or in an individual setting like one-on-one counseling or outpatient therapy.

As a rule, the longer you can stick to treatment and recovery, the higher your chances of successful recovery will be.

As you attempt abstinence and structure in your life, you will want to take the time to find an effective short term drug treatment facility in Boxholm that fits your exact needs and preferences.

When searching for a short term rehab program, therefore, you should take into account the following factors:

  • The cost of treatment
  • The type and severity of your addiction
  • If the facility accepts insurance
  • The location of the facility
  • The length of the treatment programs
  • If you are suffering from any co-occurring physical and mental health disorders
  • The length of the treatment programs
