MercyOne Horizons is known for dedicating its addiction services to the people who struggle with substance use disorders in the local community.

MercyOne Horizons also specializes in rational emotive behavioral therapy, individual psychotherapy, motivational interviewing, group therapy, 12-step facilitation approach, couple/family therapy, and others - as well as many other treatment methods such as transgender or (LGBT) clients, substance abuse education, veterans, housing services, persons who have experienced sexual abuse, clients with HIV/AIDS, and more.
Additionally, MercyOne Horizons has programs such as short term addiction treatment centers, inpatient drug treatment, outpatient hospital programs, long term drug rehab programs, outpatient detoxification centers for clients with addictions to alcohol and drugs. The alcohol and drug treatment facility uses treatment methods that can provide lasting stability to any person with a drug and alcohol use disorder. Finally, MercyOne Horizons accepts clients with different kinds of payment methods - including cash or self-payment, private medical insurance, military insurance, medicare, medicaid, state education funds, access to recovery (atr) voucher and others.
