List of Short Term Alcohol and Drug Rehab Facilities In Archer, Iowa

Making Short Term Rehab Work in Archer, Iowa

Typically, completing short term drug rehab means that you'll need to continue on with additional rehabilitation services such as through individual and group counseling. Usually, addiction recovery is a long-term ambition. This means that you might want to continue with your treatment in other settings for a while - depending on how confident you are in your sobriety, your determination, and your health.

Therefore, the step-down method after completing a short term drug rehab program will involve additional types of treatment, including but not limited to:

  • Intensive outpatient programs (IOP)
  • Partial hospitalization programs (PHP)
  • Halfway houses
  • Sober living homes
  • Support groups
  • Outpatient treatments

Even after you have graduated from a short term rehabilitation center and have began transitioning into a new healthy and drug-free way of life, you will likely still require further support and aftercare services. You may find these in group settings, such as by going to 12-step meetings, or in an individual atmosphere such as one on one counseling and outpatient therapy.

Typically, the longer you can stick to the treatment protocol, the better your chances of successful recovery will be.

As you attempt abstinence and structure in your life, you will want to take the time to locate a good short term drug or alcohol rehabilitation facility in Archer in accordance with your exact requirements and preferences.

While looking for a short term rehab program you may want to consider the following factors:

  • If the facility accepts insurance
  • If you are suffering from any co-occurring physical and mental health disorders
  • The cost of treatment
  • The length of the treatment programs
  • The location of the facility
  • The rehab programs provided
  • The type and severity of your addiction
