MercyOne Horizons has been providing recovery treatment to people who reside in Ackley and who are struggling with alcohol and drug use disorders. As such, MercyOne Horizons provides a wide variety of services such as brief intervention approach, behavior modification, relapse prevention, rational emotive behavioral therapy, activity therapy, individual psychotherapy and others using its unique approaches to addiction treatment and recovery.

It also has aftercare programs designed to replicate its treatment methods in the creation of a level of stability, abstinence, and sobriety that is permanent and lasting.
