Turning Winds is committed to assisting anyone with a drug or alcohol abuse problem in the local community find full recovery. It offers several programs - such as outpatient counseling, inpatient drug addiction treatment, short term drug rehab programs, long term drug and alcohol rehab facilities, inpatient detoxification programs and others - in keeping with its philosophy of the addiction treatment and rehabilitation methods that are effective in recovery. This alcohol and drug treatment program also believes that people require individual treatment and care to be able to stop abusing drugs and alcohol.
As such, Turning Winds specializes in cognitive/behavior therapy, group therapy, anger management, cognitive/behavior therapy, vocational rehabilitation services, motivational interviewing and more. Similarly, it accepts clients who are clients with HIV/AIDS, persons with eating disorders, transgender or (LGBT) clients, treatment for spanish-speaking clients, persons who have experienced sexual abuse, housing services, and others. This alcohol and drug treatment facility uses treatment methods that can assist clients to maintain abstinence from the substances abused in the past.
