List of Short Term Alcohol and Drug Rehabilitation Programs In Highlands Ranch, Colorado

Understanding Short Term Drug and Alcohol Treatment in Highlands Ranch, Colorado

Short term drug rehab is one of the more successful types of addiction rehab. That is, it may be beneficial for people in Highlands Ranch who are unable to go to a long-term rehabilitation program.

However, there are several things you should look into when selecting the rehabilitation facility you are going to attend. The three major factors encompass cost, success rates/effectiveness, and program duration.

Because no universal recovery method will work for everyone, you will have some treatment options to decide on dependent on your particular needs and preferences. Among these options is short term drug and alcohol rehabilitation.

In most cases, short term rehab will require that you reside within the treatment center for a couple of weeks or so. These facilities are somewhat comparable to long-term rehab programs but they are quite a bit shorter while making sure that you obtain the attention, support, and monitoring to make sure you do not relapse.

Specifically, short term rehabilitation will vary in duration from 14 days to about 6 weeks. During this time, you may participate in individual and group counseling and therapy even as you continue learning effective life skills and recovery tools that will allow you to confront any tempting situation you may run into instead of resorting to substance abuse.

Typically, short term drug rehab in Highlands Ranch, CO. will begin with medical detox. The program length will primarily depend on the dose and frequency of your addiction as well as for how long you have been using.

After you are done with detox, the short term rehab facility will utilize other methods of treatment depending on your specific needs and requirements. For instance, the program might use the 12 step method to allow you to take advantage of peer support. These treatment components may help hold you accountable as you work through your addiction.

Other forms of treatment that might be offered in short term rehabilitation include:

  • Acupuncture
  • Art therapy
  • Cognitive behavioral therapy
  • Group counseling
  • Individual counseling
  • Medication
  • Nature therapy
  • Treatment for co-occurring mental health conditions like anxiety and depression
  • Yoga

These recovery techniques can be performed in short term drug rehab to help shape your way of thinking, prevent you from substance abuse, and teach you ways to make positive choices so that you don't relapse. You might also discover helpful coping skills and improve your relaxation, so you don't feel you need to use drugs.
