List of Short Term Drug and Alcohol Rehab Centers In Evergreen, Colorado

Understanding Short Term Drug Rehab in Evergreen, Colorado

Short term drug rehabilitation is among the successful forms of addiction rehab. Notably, it might be helpful for people in Evergreen who cannot participate in a long-term rehab program.

Although, there are numerous factors you should look into while choosing the rehabilitation center you are thinking about attending. The three major factors encompass effectiveness/success rates, cost, and program duration.

Because no universal treatment plan will work for all addicts, you will have several options to decide on depending on your specific needs and preferences. One of these options is short term drug treatment.

In many cases, short term rehab will require that you live within the rehab center for a few weeks. These programs are somewhat comparable to long-term rehab programs except they are much shorter in duration while ensuring that you obtain the attention, support, and supervision to ensure you stay sober.

In particular, short term treatment will vary in duration from 14 days to about 6 weeks. During this time, you can participate in individual and group counseling and therapy while you also start learning effective life skills that will help you to deal with any tempting situation you encounter rather than reaching for drugs or alcohol.

Usually, short term addiction treatment in Evergreen, CO. will begin with medically managed detox. The program duration will mainly depend on the dose and frequency of your substance abuse as well as for how long you have been abusing drugs or alcohol.

After you are done with detox, the treatment facility will use other types of treatment tailored to your individual needs. For instance, the program might use the 12 step method to allow you to receive benefits from peer support. These treatment components will hold you accountable as you try to overcome your addiction.

Other treatment methods that may be offered in short term rehab include:

  • Art therapy
  • Acupuncture
  • Group counseling
  • Cognitive behavioral therapy
  • Individual counseling
  • Nature therapy
  • Medication
  • Yoga
  • Treatment for co-occurring mental health conditions like anxiety and depression

These recovery techniques may be offered to help modify your behavior, discourage you from drug or alcohol use, and show you how to make healthier decisions so that you don't relapse. You may also learn new coping methods and help you to reduce anxiety, so you do not feel you have to abuse drugs or alcohol.
