NorthStar Transitions is dedicated to assisting anyone with an alcohol or drug use disorder in the local community find complete recovery. It provides several services - such as short term drug rehab programs, outpatient substance abuse counseling, long term rehabs, inpatient drug rehab facilities, outpatient detox facilities and others - in keeping with its philosophy of the recovery treatment and rehabilitation modalities that are effective in recovery. This drug and alcohol rehab center also believes that clients need individual care to be able to maintain their sobriety.
As such, NorthStar Transitions specializes in activity therapy, cognitive/behavior therapy, brief intervention approach, matrix model, individual psychotherapy, 12-step facilitation approach and more. At the same time, it accepts clients who are seniors or older adults, co-occurring mental and substance abuse disorders, persons who have experienced sexual abuse, aftercare/continuing care, suicide prevention services, persons with eating disorders, and others. This substance abuse treatment facility uses treatment methods that can help clients to achieve lasting and permanent sobriety and abstinence from the substances abused in the past.
