List of Short Term Drug and Alcohol Rehabs In Eastlake, Colorado

Understanding Short Term Drug Rehab in Eastlake, Colorado

Short term drug and alcohol treatment is among the effective types of addiction rehabilitation. Notably, it can prove beneficial for clients in Eastlake who are unable to attend a long-term rehabilitation program.

Although, there are several things you need to consider while deciding on the rehabilitation center you are thinking about attending. The three primary concerns include cost, success rates/effectiveness, and program duration.

Whereas no universal treatment method will work for all addicts, you will have several options to pick from depending on your specific requirements and preferences. Among these options is short term drug rehabilitation.

In most cases, short term rehabilitation will require that you reside within the treatment facility for a couple of weeks or so. These programs are similar to long-term rehab programs except they are much shorter in duration yet at the same time ensuring that you get the support, attention, and supervision that will guarantee you stay sober.

In particular, short term treatment will vary in duration from 14 days to about 6 weeks. During this time, you will benefit from individual and group therapy and counseling even as you start learning more positive life skills that will allow you to effectively handle any difficult situation you encounter as opposed to resorting to substance abuse.

In most cases, short term addiction treatment in Eastlake, CO. will start with detoxification. The program length will largely depend on the severity of your substance abuse as well as for how long you have been using.

After you complete the detox step, the rehabilitation center will perform other types of treatment depending on your individual requirements and preferences. For instance, the program may use 12-step meetings and group counseling to allow you to take advantage of peer support. These treatments will hold you accountable as you work through your recovery.

Other forms of treatment that may be offered in short term rehab include:

  • Acupuncture
  • Art therapy
  • Cognitive behavioral therapy
  • Group counseling
  • Individual counseling
  • Medication
  • Nature therapy
  • Treatment for co-occurring mental health conditions like anxiety and depression
  • Yoga

These treatment methods may be used in short term drug rehab to help shape your way of thinking, discourage you from drug use, and teach you ways to make healthier decisions so that you do not fall back into substance abuse. You could also discover new coping methods and improve your relaxation, so you don't feel you need to resort to drugs.
