List of Short Term Addiction Treatment Programs In Arvada, Colorado

Understanding Short Term Drug and Alcohol Rehabilitation in Arvada, Colorado

Short term drug rehab is among the effective types of addiction treatment. Notably, it can be appropriate for people in Arvada who are unable to participate in a long-term treatment program.

However, there are numerous things you should consider while choosing the treatment program you are thinking about attending. The three main factors include cost, success rates/effectiveness, and time.

Whereas no universal recovery method will work for all addicts, you will have several options to pick from dependent on your specific requirements and preferences. One of these options is short term drug treatment.

In many instances, short term rehabilitation will have you reside within the rehab center for a few weeks. These programs are similar to long-term treatment programs but they last quite a bit shorter while ensuring that you obtain the support, attention, and supervision to make sure you stay sober.

In particular, short term treatment will vary in length from 14 days to about 6 weeks. During this time, you will benefit from individual and group counseling and therapy while you also continue learning more positive life skills that will empower you to effectively handle any problematic situation you may experience as opposed to resorting to substance abuse.

Typically, short term addiction treatment in Arvada, CO. will begin with detoxification. The length of this program will primarily depend on the dose and frequency of your substance abuse as well as the length of time you have been using.

After you are done with detoxification, the treatment center will use other types of treatment depending on your individual requirements and preferences. For instance, the program might use the 12 step method to allow you to take advantage of peer support. These treatment components will hold you accountable as you work through your addiction.

Other treatment methods that might be offered in short term rehabilitation include:

  • Acupuncture
  • Art therapy
  • Cognitive behavioral therapy
  • Group counseling
  • Individual counseling
  • Medication
  • Nature therapy
  • Treatment for co-occurring mental health conditions like anxiety and depression
  • Yoga

All these recovery techniques can be performed to help shape your way of thinking, discourage you from substance abuse, and show you how to make healthier decisions so that you don't fall back into substance abuse. You might also discover helpful coping strategies and improve your relaxation, so you don't feel you have to use drugs.
