List of Short Term Alcohol and Drug Rehab Centers In Ward, Arkansas

Continued Care Following Short Term Drug and Alcohol Treatment in Ward, Arkansas

One of the benefits you stand to gain when you finish short term drug rehab is that you can later transition into long-term rehabilitation. Therefore, this form of rehabilitation is suggested for people in Ward who have relapsed or are at risk of relapse because they can involve themselves in another substance-free treatment setting to continue effectively working on their addiction.

After you complete a rehabilitation program, it is very likely that you will come across the same environment where you previously used drugs or alcohol before you went for treatment. This is due to the fact that the same triggers - people, places, and things - that could provoke you to relapse are still there.

Since it can be particularly challenging to shift back into the "real world" after completing long-term rehab where you were able to focus on healing and support for a few months, you may find that continuing on with short term addiction treatment in Ward, AR. can likely help you sustain your newly acquired sobriety, control, and conceptions against substance abuse and addiction.

While in short term rehab, therefore, you will learn how to have a more productive life in spite of any challenging situations you may run into. The treatment center will also help you to learn to think and act differently - which could be extremely beneficial in ensuring that you can deal with any stressful situation you are confronted with.

Additional components of substance abuse treatment and continued care include:

  • How to recognize triggers and avoid them
  • How to surround yourself with support through community groups, outpatient treatment, and stays at sober living facilities
  • How to create a more favorable environment at home and work

Ultimately, short term drug treatment will have a wide array of rehabilitation methods that can help you apply new recovery skills in your life and keep on sticking to the new philosophies and morals you have learned once you leave the rehab facility.

Recovery Centers of Arkansas has a rich history with strong foundations in the recovery community of central Arkansas. The first Alcoholics Anonymous group in Arkansas and the oldest AA group west of the Mississippi River initially incorporated in the 1950's, as the Twenty-Four Hour Club and later as Addiction Treatment Centers, for the purpose of purchasing a facility in Little Rock to offer treatment for alcohol abuse. A need was shortly thereafter identified to have a similar facility on the north side of the river. Twelve people, incorporating as Riverbend Recovery Centers, donated $100 each for a down payment on a building and property located at the current site in North Little Rock. Operating under separate articles of incorporation, the two facilities each expanded, offering treatment to both men and women and to include substance abuse treatment in general rather than just alcohol addiction.
