McDowell Center has long been dedicated to helping its clients recovery after a period of substance abuse. It has been doing this within St. Francis, Arkansas and in the surrounding areas for many years now. Today, McDowell Center provides services like trauma therapy, cognitive/behavior therapy, 12-step facilitation approach, motivational interviewing, trauma-related counseling, activity therapy - which are all representative of their rehabilitation and treatment philosophies. Additionally, McDowell Center believes that clients need unique and individualized treatment approaches to achieve lasting recovery. This is why it offers several programs, like persons with eating disorders, programs for the hearing impaired, residential beds for client's children, persons who have experienced sexual abuse, clients referred from the court/judicial system, transgender or (LGBT) clients - among other services listed in the following sections.
McDowell Center offers short term treatment programs, long term drug rehab facilities, inpatient treatment programs, outpatient hospital programs, inpatient detox centers and others. McDowell Center has relapse prevention programs that are designed to help clients maintain their sobriety. This addiction treatment center also uses treatment methods that can help you achieve lasting sobriety.
Finally, McDowell Center accepts cash or self-payment, private health insurance, payment assistance, medicaid, medicare, access to recovery (atr) voucher, state welfare or child and family services funds, as well as others.
