Understanding Long Term Drug Treatment in Rosie, Arkansas

To prevent yourself from relapsing back to your previous alcohol and drug use patterns as well as address any co-occurring mental health disorder you might have, you might discover that you should do the following:

  • Develop new approaches you can use to manage your disorder
  • Identify all life problems that may exacerbate your psychological problems and work through them
  • Identify the consequences and effects of your drug addiction on your life
  • Develop ways to prevent yourself from giving in to the temptation to begin abusing drugs
  • Develop ways to address any reemergence of the symptoms of your substance abuse
  • Comprehend your drug and alcohol addiction as a process and concept

Since there are a lot of things for you to learn, you might find it more helpful to spend more time in a Rosie drug addiction rehabilitation facility. Although short-term drug and alcohol rehabilitation may also offer a groundwork for your rehabilitation, it might not have ample support to ensure that you take these lessons and start using them in your life.

In such situations, therefore, you may benefit from long term alcohol and drug rehab. In many instances, this type of drug and alcohol addiction rehab is offered on an inpatient or residential basis to ensure that you are in a supportive environment without all triggers that could cause you to start using harmful substances.

During long term treatment, therefore, you will receive the robust level of care and support required for an extended period of time. As such, the treatments will help you lay the foundation that you can rely on to become sober in the long run.

Overall, long term drug and alcohol rehab will offer 24/7 oversight, care, and management over an extended period. At the end of the drug and alcohol addiction rehab in Rosie, AR., you should have acquired enough information and skills to begin leading a more productive, sober lifestyle.

North Little Rock, AR. 72114

Recovery Centers of Arkansas has a rich history with strong foundations in the recovery community of central Arkansas. The first Alcoholics Anonymous group in Arkansas and the oldest AA group west of the Mississippi River initially incorporated in the 1950's, as the Twenty-Four Hour Club and later as Addiction Treatment Centers, for the purpose of purchasing a facility in Little Rock to offer treatment for alcohol abuse. A need was shortly thereafter identified to have a similar facility on the north side of the river. Twelve people, incorporating as Riverbend Recovery Centers, donated $100 each for a down payment on a building and property located at the current site in North Little Rock. Operating under separate articles of incorporation, the two facilities each expanded, offering treatment to both men and women and to include substance abuse treatment in general rather than just alcohol addiction.
