List of Inpatient Alcohol and Drug Rehab Facilities In Monroe, Arkansas

Understanding Inpatient Drug Treatment in Monroe, Arkansas

If you have been dealing with alcohol and drug abuse, you may have to search for the right inpatient drug rehab facility to deal with your issue. These programs usually offer intensive treatment plans with a number of tools and therapy to empower their patients to overcome their dependence on addictive, mind-altering, and intoxicating substances. Participating in such a Monroe program, therefore, could enable you to get on the path to full recovery and succeed in leading a happy, prosperous, and successful life.

Additionally, inpatient alcohol and drug treatment will make it possible for you to live with others facing the same or similar addictions. During this time, you will benefit from the help, support, and care you need to overcome your issue in a comfortable location free of drugs and alcohol.

Around the clock support

In the same way, residential drug facilities - as inpatient rehab is also called - will provide you with around the clock support. Most of these programs have highly qualified and certified drug addiction treatment experts that can monitor you as you continue living in the center for a designated period.

If the center is inside a hospital, the health professionals on staff can also provide around the clock medical support and oversight. On the other hand, if it is not in a hospital setting, you might receive less intensive care from on-call medical personnel.

12 Step and Non 12 Step Recovery Groups

Most inpatient alcohol and drug treatment programs in Monroe, AR. will mandate that you undergo therapy daily. In certain cases, you may also be asked to take part in and participate in 12 step support group meetings. By participating in these meetings, you will receive recovery advice, encouragement, and support from like-minded individuals also struggling with similar drug and alcohol addictions. You will even get the opportunity to work through specific, fail proof steps that others have taken to find total recovery.

And finally, the program may also have alternative non-12 step recovery group meetings that follow similar models of rehabilitation but with a focus that is less religious or faith-based.

Recovery Centers of Arkansas has a rich history with strong foundations in the recovery community of central Arkansas. The first Alcoholics Anonymous group in Arkansas and the oldest AA group west of the Mississippi River initially incorporated in the 1950's, as the Twenty-Four Hour Club and later as Addiction Treatment Centers, for the purpose of purchasing a facility in Little Rock to offer treatment for alcohol abuse. A need was shortly thereafter identified to have a similar facility on the north side of the river. Twelve people, incorporating as Riverbend Recovery Centers, donated $100 each for a down payment on a building and property located at the current site in North Little Rock. Operating under separate articles of incorporation, the two facilities each expanded, offering treatment to both men and women and to include substance abuse treatment in general rather than just alcohol addiction.
