List of Long Term Alcohol and Drug Treatment Facilities In Marcella, Arkansas

Long Term Drug and Alcohol Rehabilitation and Mental Health Care in Marcella, Arkansas

Even after completing a long-term drug and alcohol drug and alcohol addiction program in Marcella, you may still be required to continue with your rehab. However, some individuals may start wondering why they would be required to spend so long in such a center.

For example they may assume that it would be more useful to finish short-term rehab before checking into an intensive outpatient facility. Still, even though some addicts have found success through this form of rehab, there are individuals who would benefit more by spending a number of months in an inpatient program. These include addicted individuals with weak recovery skills as well as those who might need additional assistance and support to conquer their drug addiction.

These addicted individuals include those who:

  • Are entirely unable to function in their lives without abusing their drugs of choice
  • Come from unsafe areas and homes that could tempt them to begin using again
  • Have co-occurring mental health disorders
  • Begin using harmful and mind-altering substances from a young age
  • Finished drug addiction rehab but relapse to their old using habits

In many cases, long term alcohol and drug rehab might also be accompanied by extended care and mental health rehab. This is because the mental illnesses often co-occur with drug addiction - by leading people to abuse drugs and alcohol or arising from substance abuse - often need long term management and rehab.

Through a Marcella, AR. long-term program, therefore, you will receive all the care and support you need to conquer both your drug and alcohol abuse and any co-occurring mental health condition that you are suffering from.

If you opt for short-term treatment, you may find that you increasingly isolate yourself, neglect your health and wellness, and stop taking the prescription drugs that physicians recommended to you. This is why long-term drug rehab makes sense for individuals with co-occurring disorders and who require more intervention.

Recovery Centers of Arkansas has a rich history with strong foundations in the recovery community of central Arkansas. The first Alcoholics Anonymous group in Arkansas and the oldest AA group west of the Mississippi River initially incorporated in the 1950's, as the Twenty-Four Hour Club and later as Addiction Treatment Centers, for the purpose of purchasing a facility in Little Rock to offer treatment for alcohol abuse. A need was shortly thereafter identified to have a similar facility on the north side of the river. Twelve people, incorporating as Riverbend Recovery Centers, donated $100 each for a down payment on a building and property located at the current site in North Little Rock. Operating under separate articles of incorporation, the two facilities each expanded, offering treatment to both men and women and to include substance abuse treatment in general rather than just alcohol addiction.
