List of Inpatient Alcohol and Drug Treatment Facilities In Kensett, Arkansas

Understanding Inpatient Drug and Alcohol Treatment in Kensett, Arkansas

If you have been dealing with alcohol and drug abuse, you may have to search for the most appropriate inpatient alcohol and drug treatment center to deal with your condition. These facilities usually provide intensive programs with a variety of tools and therapy to empower their clients to conquer their dependence on addictive, mind-altering, and intoxicating substances. Participating in such a Kensett program, therefore, could enable you to get on the path to total recovery and succeed in leading a happy, prosperous, and successful life.

Additionally, inpatient alcohol and drug rehabilitation will allow you to live with others dealing with the same or similar addictions. In doing so, you will benefit from the assistance, support, and care you need to conquer your condition in a comfortable environment free of alcohol and drugs.

24/7 care

In the same way, residential drug facilities - as inpatient rehab is also called - will offer you with 24/7 support. Most of these programs have extremely qualified and certified drug and alcohol addiction rehab experts that can oversee you as you continue living in the facility for a given period.

If the center is inside a hospital, the health professionals on staff can also provide around the clock medical support and monitoring. On the other hand, if it is not in a hospital setting, you might receive intermittent support from on-call medical staff.

12 Step and Non 12 Step Recovery Groups

Most inpatient drug and alcohol rehabilitation centers in Kensett, AR. will mandate that you participate in therapy daily. In some instances, you might also be asked to attend and participate in 12 step support group meetings. Through these meetings, you will benefit from recovery advice, encouragement, and support from other peers also struggling with similar drug addictions. You will even get the chance to work through specific, time-tested steps that others have taken to find full recovery.

Last but not least, the facility may also have alternative non-12 step recovery group meetings that follow similar models of treatment but with a concentrations that is less religious or faith-based.

Recovery Centers of Arkansas has a rich history with strong foundations in the recovery community of central Arkansas. The first Alcoholics Anonymous group in Arkansas and the oldest AA group west of the Mississippi River initially incorporated in the 1950's, as the Twenty-Four Hour Club and later as Addiction Treatment Centers, for the purpose of purchasing a facility in Little Rock to offer treatment for alcohol abuse. A need was shortly thereafter identified to have a similar facility on the north side of the river. Twelve people, incorporating as Riverbend Recovery Centers, donated $100 each for a down payment on a building and property located at the current site in North Little Rock. Operating under separate articles of incorporation, the two facilities each expanded, offering treatment to both men and women and to include substance abuse treatment in general rather than just alcohol addiction.
