List of Inpatient Alcohol and Drug Rehab Facilities In Higginson, Arkansas

Differences in Inpatient Alcohol and Drug Rehab in Higginson, Arkansas

Today, different inpatient alcohol and drug rehabilitation centers vary regarding the outline and execution of their addiction rehab offerings and services. For example, the length of time you will spend undergoing therapy and detoxification will vary from one program to another. Whereas some facilities last as long as 9 months or more, others will be short and take about 30 days.

In the same way, these programs in Higginson vary in terms of the level of autonomy and freedom clients have while undergoing addiction rehabilitation. Some of the centers are locked down, meaning that you won't be able to leave the center as you battle your alcohol and drug abuse and any co-occurring mental health issues. In such a facility, you may not even be able to access the internet or be allowed visitors. Other programs, however, might allow you some leeway to associate with the world outside while still focusing on total recovery.

When you select inpatient alcohol and drug treatment, therefore, it is essential that you examine different centers and choose the one that matches your needs. Some of the aspects you should consider include:

a) Monetary Policies

Ask the residential facility whether they accept insurance, offer financial support, and have a variety of payment choices.

b) Offerings and Services

You should also research and find out what the Higginson, AR. treatment program has to offer regarding accommodation, food, recreation, therapy, and other aspects of drug addiction rehabilitation.

As you continue evaluating different inpatient alcohol and drug rehab centers, keep in mind that no given program will be effective for every addict. To this end, it may be in your best interests to carefully determine what every facility can offer until you get to a facility that is best suited to meet your needs and preferences.

Overall, inpatient alcohol and drug rehab is among the most effective of all types of addiction treatment protocols. The time spent in one of these centers will ensure that you can productively focus on your recovery without the temptations and triggers that you may encounter if you select outpatient treatment.

Recovery Centers of Arkansas has a rich history with strong foundations in the recovery community of central Arkansas. The first Alcoholics Anonymous group in Arkansas and the oldest AA group west of the Mississippi River initially incorporated in the 1950's, as the Twenty-Four Hour Club and later as Addiction Treatment Centers, for the purpose of purchasing a facility in Little Rock to offer treatment for alcohol abuse. A need was shortly thereafter identified to have a similar facility on the north side of the river. Twelve people, incorporating as Riverbend Recovery Centers, donated $100 each for a down payment on a building and property located at the current site in North Little Rock. Operating under separate articles of incorporation, the two facilities each expanded, offering treatment to both men and women and to include substance abuse treatment in general rather than just alcohol addiction.
