List of Short Term Alcohol and Drug Treatment Programs In Griffithville, Arkansas

Making Short Term Drug and Alcohol Treatment Work in Griffithville, Arkansas

For many people, completing short term drug treatment means that you'll need to continue on with additional rehabilitation services such as making use of 12-step meetings or individualized counseling. Typically, substance abuse recovery is a long-term commitment. Therefore you may want to continue with your treatment in other settings for a while - depending on how confident you are in your sobriety, your determination, and your health.

Therefore, the step-down method after completing a short term drug rehabilitation program may include additional methods of treatment, including but not limited to:

  • Halfway houses
  • Intensive outpatient programs (IOP)
  • Outpatient treatments
  • Partial hospitalization programs (PHP)
  • Sober living homes
  • Support groups

Even after you have finished a short term drug and alcohol rehab center and have started reintegrating into a new healthy and drug-free lifestyle, you will still require additional support. You may encounter these in group contexts, such as by going to 12-step support group meetings, or in an individual setting such as one on one counseling and outpatient counseling.

As a rule, the longer you can stick to treatment and recovery, the greater your chances of successful recovery will be.

While you attempt abstinence and structure in your life, you will want to take the time to locate a good short term substance abuse rehab center in Griffithville in accordance with your particular requirements and preferences.

While searching for a short term treatment program you might want to take into account the following factors:

  • If the facility accepts insurance
  • If you are suffering from any co-occurring physical and mental health disorders
  • The cost of treatment
  • The length of the treatment programs
  • The location of the facility
  • The rehab programs provided
  • The type and severity of your addiction

Recovery Centers of Arkansas has a rich history with strong foundations in the recovery community of central Arkansas. The first Alcoholics Anonymous group in Arkansas and the oldest AA group west of the Mississippi River initially incorporated in the 1950's, as the Twenty-Four Hour Club and later as Addiction Treatment Centers, for the purpose of purchasing a facility in Little Rock to offer treatment for alcohol abuse. A need was shortly thereafter identified to have a similar facility on the north side of the river. Twelve people, incorporating as Riverbend Recovery Centers, donated $100 each for a down payment on a building and property located at the current site in North Little Rock.
