List of Long Term Alcohol and Drug Rehab Programs In Greers Ferry, Arkansas

Who Succeeds in Long Term Drug and Alcohol Treatment in Greers Ferry, Arkansas?

Although long term alcohol and drug treatment is now linked to centers in Greers Ferry that offer genuine help in addiction rehabilitation, some people do not like these facilities and might not do well in them.

In fact, recent studies indicate that the rate of dropout for long term treatment facility is much higher than that from short-term addiction rehab - with more than 31% of all enrolled clients giving up on rehab.

In many instances, these recovering addicted individuals drop out because they feel uncomfortable, want to return home, think that they should continue focusing on their work and providing for their families, or due to the fact that they lack the finances to continue receiving treatment.

A Journal of Offender Rehabilitation study, however, indicated that addicted individuals who are highly motivated to complete their drug and alcohol addiction rehab center are more inclined to succeed through long term alcohol and drug treatment as well as those who mandated to go to one of these facilities by the law.

You may also keep in mind that most long-term drug rehab centers have many rules and regulations that you need to abide by daily. As you regain your strength and experience a decline in your condition, these rules may start to be a burden. At this point, you may think that you no longer need to attend support group meetings on daily. You may also not want to follow curfews set by the center.

However, you need to remember that these rules and regulations are in place for a good purpose and not just to punish you. Therefore, the only way to bolster the gains you are making in addiction recovery is by following them.

Overall, Greers Ferry, AR. long term drug and alcohol rehabilitation is among the best types of rehabilitation for addiction. Recovery Centers of Arkansas has a rich history with strong foundations in the recovery community of central Arkansas. The first Alcoholics Anonymous group in Arkansas and the oldest AA group west of the Mississippi River initially incorporated in the 1950's, as the Twenty-Four Hour Club and later as Addiction Treatment Centers, for the purpose of purchasing a facility in Little Rock to offer treatment for alcohol abuse. A need was shortly thereafter identified to have a similar facility on the north side of the river. Twelve people, incorporating as Riverbend Recovery Centers, donated $100 each for a down payment on a building and property located at the current site in North Little Rock. Operating under separate articles of incorporation, the two facilities each expanded, offering treatment to both men and women and to include substance abuse treatment in general rather than just alcohol addiction.
