List of Long Term Drug and Alcohol Rehabs In Floral, Arkansas

Long Term Alcohol and Drug Rehab and Mental Health Care in Floral, Arkansas

Upon completion of a long-term drug and alcohol drug and alcohol addiction program in Floral, you may still be required to continue with your treatment. However, some individuals may start wondering why they would be required to spend such an extensive period of time in such a facility.

In particular, they may imagine that it would be more useful to complete short-term rehab before checking into an intensive outpatient program. Still, even though some addicts have found success through this type of rehab, there are people who would benefit more by spending several months in an inpatient facility. These include addicts with less robust recovery skills as well as those who might require additional assistance and support to conquer their drug and alcohol addiction.

These addicted individuals include those who:

  • Are entirely unable to function in their lives without abusing their alcohol and drugs of choice
  • Come from unsafe neighborhoods and homes that could tempt them to begin using again
  • Have co-occurring mental health conditions
  • Start using harmful and mind-altering substances from an early age
  • Completed drug and alcohol addiction treatment but relapse to their old using patterns

In many instances, long term drug rehabilitation may also be accompanied by extended care and psychological rehabilitation. This is because the mental illnesses often co-occur with drug and alcohol addiction - by leading individuals to abuse alcohol and drugs or arising from alcohol and drug abuse - often need long term management and treatment.

Through a Floral, AR. long-term facility, therefore, you will get all the care and support you need to conquer both your drug and alcohol abuse and any co-occurring mental health condition that you are suffering from.

If you opt for short-term rehab, you might find that you particularly isolate yourself, neglect your physical health and wellness, and cease taking the medications that physicians recommended to you. This is why long-term drug rehab makes sense for individuals with co-occurring conditions and who require more intervention.

Recovery Centers of Arkansas
1201 River Road
North Little Rock, AR. 72114

Recovery Centers of Arkansas has a rich history with strong foundations in the recovery community of central Arkansas. The first Alcoholics Anonymous group in Arkansas and the oldest AA group west of the Mississippi River initially incorporated in the 1950's, as the Twenty-Four Hour Club and later as Addiction Treatment Centers, for the purpose of purchasing a facility in Little Rock to offer treatment for alcohol abuse. A need was shortly thereafter identified to have a similar facility on the north side of the river. Twelve people, incorporating as Riverbend Recovery Centers, donated $100 each for a down payment on a building and property located at the current site in North Little Rock. Operating under separate articles of incorporation, the two facilities each expanded, offering treatment to both men and women and to include substance abuse treatment in general rather than just alcohol addiction.
