Understanding Inpatient Drug and Alcohol Treatment in Fairfield Bay, Arkansas

If you have been dealing with drug and alcohol abuse, you might have to search for the right inpatient drug and alcohol treatment center to address your condition. These centers typically offer intensive services with a number of tools and therapy to empower their patients to conquer their dependence on addictive, mind-altering, and intoxicating substances. Participating in such a Fairfield Bay program, therefore, could enable you to get on the road to total recovery and succeed in leading a joyous, productive, and successful life.

In addition, inpatient alcohol and drug rehabilitation will allow you to live with others dealing with the same or similar drug addictions. In doing so, you will get the help, support, and care you need to overcome your issue in a comfortable location without alcohol and drugs.

Around the clock care

In the same way, residential drug facilities - as inpatient rehabilitation is also called - will offer you with 24/7 support. Most of these centers have extremely qualified and certified addiction rehabilitation professionals that can monitor you as you continue residing in the facility for a given period.

If the center is inside a hospital, the health professionals on staff can also offer 24/7 medical care and oversight. However, if it is outside a hospital setting, you may receive intermittent care from on-call medical personnel.

12 Step and Non 12 Step Recovery Groups

Most inpatient drug rehabilitation centers in Fairfield Bay, AR. will mandate that you participate in therapy every day. In some cases, you might also be asked to attend and participate in 12 step support group meetings. By participating in these meetings, you will benefit from recovery advice, encouragement, and support from like-minded individuals also battling similar drug and alcohol addictions. You will even get the chance to work through specific, fail proof actions that others have taken to find total recovery.

Last but not least, the facility may also have alternative non-12 step recovery group meetings that follow similar models of rehabilitation but with a focus that is less religious or faith-based.

Recovery Centers of Arkansas has a rich history with strong foundations in the recovery community of central Arkansas. The first Alcoholics Anonymous group in Arkansas and the oldest AA group west of the Mississippi River initially incorporated in the 1950's, as the Twenty-Four Hour Club and later as Addiction Treatment Centers, for the purpose of purchasing a facility in Little Rock to offer treatment for alcohol abuse. A need was shortly thereafter identified to have a similar facility on the north side of the river. Twelve people, incorporating as Riverbend Recovery Centers, donated $100 each for a down payment on a building and property located at the current site in North Little Rock. Operating under separate articles of incorporation, the two facilities each expanded, offering treatment to both men and women and to include substance abuse treatment in general rather than just alcohol addiction.
