List of Inpatient Addiction Treatment Programs In Desha, Arkansas

Understanding Inpatient Drug and Alcohol Treatment in Desha, Arkansas

If you have been struggling with alcohol and drug abuse, you may have to search for the right inpatient drug treatment facility to address your issue. These centers usually offer intensive programs with a number of tools and therapy to empower their clients to overcome their dependence on addictive, mind-altering, and harmful substances. Participating in such a Desha program, therefore, could enable you to get on the road to total recovery and succeed in leading a happy, prosperous, and successful life.

In addition, inpatient drug rehab will make it possible for you to live with others facing the same or similar drug addictions. During this time, you will receive the help, support, and care you require to conquer your issue in a comfortable environment without alcohol and drugs.

24/7 support

In the same way, residential drug centers - as inpatient treatment is also called - will provide you with around the clock support. Most of these centers have highly qualified and certified drug addiction rehabilitation professionals that can monitor you as you continue residing in the center for a designated period.

If the program is inside a hospital, the health professionals on staff can also offer 24/7 medical support and monitoring. However, if it is outside a hospital setting, you might benefit from intermittent care from on-call medical staff.

12 Step and Non 12 Step Recovery Groups

Most inpatient drug rehabilitation centers in Desha, AR. will require that you participate in therapy every day. In certain instances, you might also be asked to attend and participate in 12 step support group meetings. Through these meetings, you will receive recovery advice, encouragement, and support from like-minded individuals also battling similar drug addictions. You will even get the chance to work through specific, time-tested actions that others have taken to find full recovery.

And finally, the program might also have alternative non-12 step recovery sessions that follow similar models of rehabilitation but with a concentrations that is not as religious or faith-based.

North Little Rock, AR. 72114

Recovery Centers of Arkansas has a rich history with strong foundations in the recovery community of central Arkansas. The first Alcoholics Anonymous group in Arkansas and the oldest AA group west of the Mississippi River initially incorporated in the 1950's, as the Twenty-Four Hour Club and later as Addiction Treatment Centers, for the purpose of purchasing a facility in Little Rock to offer treatment for alcohol abuse. A need was shortly thereafter identified to have a similar facility on the north side of the river. Twelve people, incorporating as Riverbend Recovery Centers, donated $100 each for a down payment on a building and property located at the current site in North Little Rock. Operating under separate articles of incorporation, the two facilities each expanded, offering treatment to both men and women and to include substance abuse treatment in general rather than just alcohol addiction.
