List of Short Term Addiction Treatment Programs In Beebe, Arkansas

Understanding Short Term Drug Treatment in Beebe, Arkansas

Short term drug rehabilitation is one of the more successful forms of addiction rehabilitation. Notably, it can be useful for clients in Beebe who cannot go to a long-term rehab program.

Yet, there are many things you need to consider when selecting the rehab program you are thinking about attending. The three primary concerns include cost, success rates/effectiveness, and program duration.

Because no universal treatment method will work for all addicts, you will have some options to choose from depending on your particular requirements and desires. Among these options is short term drug and alcohol rehab.

In most cases, short term rehabilitation will have you live within the recovery facility for a couple of weeks or so. These facilities are similar to long-term treatment programs but they last much shorter in duration yet at the same time ensuring that you receive the attention, support, and supervision to ensure you stay sober.

In particular, short term treatment will vary in duration from 14 days to about 6 weeks. During this time, you will benefit from individual and group counseling even as you continue learning more positive life skills that will help you to effectively handle any problematic situation you may run into rather than getting high or drunk.

Usually, short term drug rehab in Beebe, AR. will start with detoxification. The program duration will largely depend on the dose and frequency of your substance abuse as well as for how long you have been using.

After you are done with detox, the short term rehab center will use other forms of treatment depending on your individual needs and requirements. For instance, treatment might use 12-step meetings and group counseling to allow you to receive benefits from peer support. These treatments will hold you accountable as you try to overcome your addiction.

Other treatment approaches that might be available through short term rehab include:

  • Art therapy
  • Acupuncture
  • Group counseling
  • Cognitive behavioral therapy
  • Individual counseling
  • Nature therapy
  • Medication
  • Yoga
  • Treatment for co-occurring mental health conditions like anxiety and depression

These recovery techniques may be used to help modify your behavior, discourage you from continued drug use, and show you how to make healthier decisions so that you do not relapse. You might also discover helpful coping skills and improve your relaxation, so you do not feel you have to use drugs.

Recovery Centers of Arkansas has a rich history with strong foundations in the recovery community of central Arkansas. The first Alcoholics Anonymous group in Arkansas and the oldest AA group west of the Mississippi River initially incorporated in the 1950's, as the Twenty-Four Hour Club and later as Addiction Treatment Centers, for the purpose of purchasing a facility in Little Rock to offer treatment for alcohol abuse. A need was shortly thereafter identified to have a similar facility on the north side of the river. Twelve people, incorporating as Riverbend Recovery Centers, donated $100 each for a down payment on a building and property located at the current site in North Little Rock. Operating under separate articles of incorporation, the two facilities each expanded, offering treatment to both men and women and to include substance abuse treatment in general rather than just alcohol addiction.
