Understanding Long Term Drug Rehabilitation in Batesville, Arkansas

To prevent yourself from turning back to your previous drug use patterns as well as manage any co-occurring psychological condition you might have, you might find that you need to do the following:

  • Develop new approaches you can utilize to manage your condition
  • Pinpoint all life problems that might aggravate your psychological problems and work through them
  • Identify the consequences and effects of your drug addiction on your life
  • Develop ways to stop yourself from giving in to the temptation to start abusing alcohol and drugs
  • Develop ways to address any reemergence of the symptoms of your substance abuse
  • Comprehend your drug and alcohol addiction as a process and idea

Because there are so many things for you to grasp, you might find it more helpful to spend more time in a Batesville drug addiction rehab program. Although short-term alcohol and drug rehab may also offer a foundation for your treatment, it may not have ample support to make sure that you retain these lessons and begin applying them in your life.

In such instances, therefore, you may benefit from long term alcohol and drug rehab. Overall, long term alcohol and drug rehabilitation will provide you with 24/7 monitoring, care, and management over an extended period. At the end of the addiction rehab in Batesville, AR., you should have retained enough information and skills to start leading a more productive, sober life.

Recovery Centers of Arkansas has a rich history with strong foundations in the recovery community of central Arkansas. The first Alcoholics Anonymous group in Arkansas and the oldest AA group west of the Mississippi River initially incorporated in the 1950's, as the Twenty-Four Hour Club and later as Addiction Treatment Centers, for the purpose of purchasing a facility in Little Rock to offer treatment for alcohol abuse. A need was shortly thereafter identified to have a similar facility on the north side of the river. Twelve people, incorporating as Riverbend Recovery Centers, donated $100 each for a down payment on a building and property located at the current site in North Little Rock. Operating under separate articles of incorporation, the two facilities each expanded, offering treatment to both men and women and to include substance abuse treatment in general rather than just alcohol addiction.
